Local Farmer’s Markets

Local Farmers Markets

Farmer’s Market season is finally here! The fresh flowers, the beautiful produce, the yummy food, the sense of community… I love it all! The PNW is full of amazing farmer’s markets and here are my favorites!

Most produce loses 30% of its nutrients 3 days after it’s harvested! Even if it costs a little more to buy high-quality fresh produce, it’s well worth it! When the farmer’s markets are open, I try to buy as much produce as I can from them!

Local Farmers Markets

Bainbridge Island Farmer’s Market

The Bainbridge Island Farmer’s Market is on Saturdays from 10-2 pm in the Town Square. It hosts over 40 local vendors, including farmers, food vendors, and crafters with artisan-made goods. Check out a full list of current market vendors here

A few of my favorite vendors include:
  • Gluten-free goodies from Pane D’Amore Artisan Bakery
  • Fresh, organic produce from Butler Green Farmers
  • Anything and everything from Hey Day Farm

Poulsbo Farmer’s Market

The Poulsbo Farmer’s Market is on Saturdays from 10-2 pm in the Gateway Fellowship Church parking lot. The market showcases locally produced produce, food, artisan items, and other goodies.  There is a live music stage with performances taking place from April through October.  Find out who will be at the market each week here.

A few of my favorite vendors include:
  • Oxalis Kitchen for yummy gluten-free baked goods and salads
  • Rosanna Diggs for her super cute embroidery kits
  • Wok Craft for their delicious gluten-free noodle bowl
  • Puget Sound Mushrooms has a great variety of mushrooms
  • Kids Club is the first Saturday of the month and is a fun opportunity for kids to learn something new and earn some Kids Bucks sponsored by Town & Country to purchase product at the farmers market!

Jefferson Country Farmer’s Market

The Jefferson County Farmer’s Market is on Saturdays from 10-2 pm on Tyler St in Port Townsend. While it’s a bit further away, it’s well worth the drive. It is my favorite of them all. This Farmer’s Market offers a bounty of fresh, organic, unique produce, healthy lunch offerings, bakery items, lively music, vegan ice cream and so much more! Check out their vendor list here.

A few of my favorite vendors include:
  • I can’t remember who sells them but there are so many amazing microgreens to choose from!
  • Chef Wyatt has the most amazing little sushi stand! There may be a line but it’s always worth the wait!
  • Fiddlehead Creamery vegan ice cream.
  • La Cocina chips and salsa are so yummy.
