Smoothies are such a great way to sneak a whole bunch of greens and nutrients into your day without having to eat yet another salad! I make one of these a day for my girls and I love knowing that they got a jumpstart on their vegetable intake because of it.

  • 2 Bananas
  • 4 Cups Spinach
  • 2 Cups Wild Blueberries
  • 1/4 Cup Water or Coconut Water
  • 1 Tsp Barley Juice Extract (optional)
  • 1/4 Cup Frozen Dragon Fruit (optional but makes it even yummier)
  • 2 Tbsp Chia Seeds (also optional but I like to add when I am drinking this smoothie as a meal)


  • Add all ingredients into your blender and puree until smooth. Add a little extra water if too thick to blend.
  • Sometimes we leave out the water to make a really thick smoothie that is more like a berry ice cream. You will need a blender like a vitamix to do this and will have to do a lot of stirring but it's worth it!
